Success storys
The basis of a project that is successful for both partners is efficient, transparent project management. Here we provide an overview of our project process and details of customer projects.
Project flow
All of our projects run according to a uniform, transparent scheme, which is planned by one of our experienced project managers. The project is divided into the following phases:
Wafer surface treatment for Vishay
The semiconductor manufacturer Vishay relies on equipment technology from PaceTec for setting up its semiconductor manufacturing in Telefunkenpark.
In the Heilbronn Telefunkenpark, Vishay invested more than 20 million euros in expanding its production capacities and relies on PaceTec’s equipment expertise. We draw on our extensive expertise in building plastic systems for etching and cleaning processes, as well as corresponding know-how in stainless steel systems for solvent processes. In the first step, a total of five process systems were delivered to Heilbronn and put into operation in Vishay’s newly established cleanrooms.
The process systems serve to automate various wet chemical processes, with which electronic chips are manufactured on gallium arsenide wafers. These are then used in various sensors, which can be installed in a wide range of electronic devices.
“We are proud to support Vishay in its extensive expansion plans with our expertise in equipment construction for the semiconductor industry. Vishay’s high requirements for process technology, purity, automation, and flexibility ideally match PaceTec’s platform technology. The additional regional connection to Vishay in Heilbronn, due to the proximity of our headquarters in Furtwangen, particularly pleases us in this context,” says Frank Schienle, Managing Director of PaceTec GmbH.
All systems were put into operation on time and to the highest satisfaction; further systems will follow.
Cleaning of workpiece carriers at a well-known pharmaceutical manufacturer
Cleaning of workpiece carriers of an assembly machine for inhalers in the clean room. Special requirements had to be designed in compliance with GMP and ATEX and the machine had to be set up in the clean room in order to avoid ejecting the parts to be cleaned via locks.
Before receiving the machine from PaceTec, the customer had a manual wet bench, which on the one hand was not efficient and on the other hand was harmful to the health of the workers due to the solvents used.
