Semiconductor Manufacturer Vishay Relies on PaceTec’s Equipment for its Production Facility in Telefunkenpark
At the Heilbronn Telefunkenpark, semiconductor manufacturer Vishay invested more than 20 million euros to expand its production capacity, relying on PaceTec’s expertise in plant engineering. We leverage our extensive experience in constructing plastic systems for etching and cleaning processes, as well as our know-how in stainless steel systems for solvent-based processes. In the first phase, a total of five processing systems were delivered to Heilbronn and commissioned in the newly created cleanrooms at Vishay.
The processing systems are used to automate various wet chemical processes that aid in the production of electronic chips on gallium arsenide wafers. These chips are used in various sensors, which are then integrated into a wide range of electronic devices.
“We are proud to support Vishay with our expertise in plant engineering for the semiconductor industry as part of their extensive expansion plans. Vishay’s high demands in process technology, purity, automation, and flexibility align perfectly with PaceTec’s platform technology. We are particularly pleased with the regional connection to Vishay in Heilbronn, thanks to the proximity of our headquarters in Furtwangen,”
Frank Schienle, Managing Director of PaceTec GmbH
All systems were successfully commissioned on time and to the utmost satisfaction, with more systems to follow.
